    Wimbledon 2026 introduces video review technology alongside second year of electronic line calling

    • For the first time in Wimbledon history, video review was introduced in 2026, allowing players to ask the chair umpire to re-watch judgement calls such as double-bounces, foul shots and net touches.
    • Video review is available on six show courts including Centre Court and No. 1 Court; line call decisions by Hawk-Eye Live remain final and cannot be challenged.
    • Hawk-Eye Live, using 18 cameras per court, entered its second year at Wimbledon after line judges were removed in 2025, ending a 147-year tradition.
